Dew of the Dawn

My Favorite Juice Recipes

Most of my juices that I make are for most of my day.  A lot of times I will juice at night so I have some the next day.  I usually get about 1 1/2 quarts of juice from this.

Beauty Red

Picture
2 stalks of celery
2 Granny Smith apples
2 oranges
1 small beet peeled
4 slices of pineapple
1 mango
4 carrots
Handful of grapes
1 thumb size piece of ginger peeled
1 small sweet potato peeled
Coconut water

Place all into juicer making sure to peel the sweet potato, beet and ginger.  I usually get the pineapple already cut up, but if you have a whole one use half and make sure you cut the outside off.  One thing I also learned was to not keep the peel on any citrus.  That was not a good experience.
When you have juiced everything that can be done use the coconut water to clean out the juicer.  I will usually have the juicer on high and just pour in about half of a bottle.  That will give you a bit more juice too.

Faux Orange Julius

This one was made because I had a cantaloupe that needed to be used.

1 whole cantaloupe
2 oranges
4 slices of pineapple

Peel all of the above and place into the juicer.  The froth makes it feel like the real Orange Julius and the taste does too!

Abby Juice

Abby made a deal with me that she would have at least one juice a day.  We are trying that, but it doesn't always work out.  Here is one that she likes.  She said no apples, but of course there is at least one!

1 cup blueberries
2 oranges peeled
1 snuck in apple
10 strawberries

Clean your fruits and peel what needs to be peeled.  Put it all together in the juicer and she's got a lot of fruits that I wouldn't normally get in her!
